Why This Word Search Matters

Matthew 21:1-22 and the rest of chapter 21 is a turning point in Jesus’ earthly ministry. As He rides into Jerusalem, the crowds welcome Him with palm branches and shouts of “Hosanna!”—recognizing Him as the promised Messiah. But Jesus doesn’t arrive as a conquering king; He comes in humility, riding on a donkey, just as the prophet Zechariah foretold. Once inside the temple, He flips tables—not out of rage, but righteous anger—because the sacred space meant for prayer had been turned into a marketplace. His actions remind us that God’s presence is holy and not to be treated lightly. Then, through the withering of the fig tree, Jesus teaches His disciples that true faith produces fruit—and with faith, even the impossible becomes possible. This passage calls us to examine our hearts: Are we welcoming Jesus with genuine faith? Are we bearing fruit that honors Him? Are we bold in prayer, believing that God still moves mountains?
